United Football League Hires UFL Access Co-Founder Nation Hahn To Lead Digital Strategy

NEW YORK, NY (February 1, 2010) – Commissioner Michael Huyghue announced today the hiring of former UFL Access principal Nation Hahn as the League’s new Director of Digital Media. Who Will Replace Haslett? Look to Gruden

Jay Gruden is emerging as the frontrunner for head coach of the Florida Tuskers in the eyes of many following the United Football League. The Orlando Sentinel weighed in on the Tuskers’ vacancy the other day after speaking with UFL Commissioner Michael Huyghue who alerted the Sentinel that Gruden was definitely a candidate.

The Florida Tuskers are the dominant team. Period.

Their 34 to 7 victory over the California Redwoods was another reminder that they have thus far been the team to beat and that doesn’t look to change any time soon. Brooks Bollinger threw for 224 yards, 133 of those to Taye Biddle. Tim McGarigle racked up 7.5 tackles with 1 interception to lead the defense.

UFLA Preview: Florida Tuskers Host California Redwoods Tonight at 7 PM

The Florida Tuskers, 2-0 and looking dominant, will play host to the 1-1 California Redwoods tonight at 7 PM at the Florida Citrus Bowl. The game will be televised live on VERSUS in High Definition.

The weather looks to be perfect with a temperature of 71 forecasted around game time and no rain in sight. Combine that with the planned halftime entertainment of fireworks, the Predators Dance Team, and a 150-piece marching band and those in attendance should have a fun evening.

New York Sentinels to Host First Home Game 10/29

Thursday, October 29, 2009 will mark the fourth week of the United Football League’s inaugural season, and the first home game for the New York Sentinels. The game will feature the California Redwoods, and is set to kick off at 7:00 p.m. at Giants Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ. The UFL’s season has been successful through two weeks of play and has enjoyed national and local media attention, with games being televised nationally on the Versus Network.

Tuskers Sign 8, Including Todd Sauerbrun

ORLANDO (September 9, 2009) – The United Football League’s Florida Tuskers added eight players to its “Premiere” season roster. The Tuskers, along with the New York Sentinels, travel to Jacksonville today for player physicals. The California Redwoods and Las Vegas Locomotives will also be conducting player physicals this week in Scottsdale. Training camp for all four teams begin on September 14th in Orlando and Casa Grande, Arizona.
