The United Football League opened camp in Orlando, Florida and Casa Grande, Arizona today. The first official practice today was the New York Sentinels at 8:30 AM at the Citrus Bowl. This followed team meetings yesterday as the league and the coaching staffs work overtime to get the players ready to play come October 8.

I showed up at Lincoln High School in San Diego California not knowing what to expect. From what I heard of the tryouts that took place in Florida, with the long line of hopeful players trying to earn a spot, I thought I would see the same thing here.
Per the Sacramento Bee: Hundreds of players were cut from NFL teams Saturday. Yet, for the first time in decades, many of them will have a shot at playing fall football somewhere other than the NFL.
According to several sources former Pro Bowler Koren Robinson will attempt to begin his comeback in the United Football League.
Former Jaguars Quarterback Quinn Gray texted the UFL Access bat phone this afternoon with the following news:
“Sitting in the office with the commish as we speak, deal done, contract signed!”
As a follow up we asked him if the team was New York as he had previously indicated to which he replied: “Yes sir!”

ESPN’s Jeffri Chadiha proposes today that the United Football League may be Michael Vick’s best and most suitable bet.
