Well, If the Raiders move to LA and the A's get a new stadium, that would leave Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum completely empty. I would imagine that SF-UFL would become Oakland.
The 49ers are planning on moving to the southern Bay-area which would leave Candlestick Park empty.
If they both move, the UFL has the option of taking the better deal, or adding a second Bay-area team.
Here is the article from the San Francisco Business Times...
UFL eyes 49ers' planned Santa Clara stadium (http://www.bizjournals.com/sanfrancisco/stories/2009/02/09/daily80.html)
LMAO, this has to be a bad rumor, right? I mean the UFL should have other problems right now than thinking about a stadium which might get build somewhere in the future.
Also how stupid would that be? Wasn't it the UFL's main reason to place a team into the San Francisco market just because of a possible 49ers move to Santa Clara? Jeez...

I think that the facts got confused. It would be rediculous for the UFL to go to Santa Clara. Also, I don't think that the 49ers would be interested in sharing with a rival league.

That hasn't happened since the NFL Dallas Cowboys and AFL Dallas Texans shared the Cotton Bowl.

The Giants and Jets share the same stadium.

AT&T Park will be where the San Francisco games are played and Sacramento games will be played at Hughes Stadium.

Yes but they are not from rival leagues.

I imagine the UFL would see the 49'ers moving to Santa Clara as a bigger reason to play games in AT&T if at all possible in order to become THE San Francisco team.

AT&T Park would be perfect.........if the Giants let them. If not, Stanford or San Jose.

San Francisco hasn't really worked to much trying to get a new deal with the 49ers, idk what they r doing.. them playing in Santa Clara or anywhere else is just stupid. A Raiders/49ers stadium I wouldn't mind I guess but the team needs a better place to play.
The UFL will find somewhere
