It has been a long, winding journey for the league – a journey that many folks said would never bring them to actually playing.

Final Training Camp Rosters Released for United Football League Teams

JACKSONVILLE, FL (September 16, 2009) – The United Football League announced its “Premiere” season training camp rosters today. Training camp officially began on Monday, September 13th in Orlando, Florida and Casa Grande, Arizona and players were added until this morning. The Florida Tuskers and New York Sentinels are training at the Citrus Bowl while the California Redwoods and the Las Vegas Locomotives are training at the Casa Grande Performance Institute. Jermaine Wiggins first burst onto the UFL scene when he tried out for the league several months ago during the first public workout for the new league. He was drafted by the Florida Tuskers and seems likely to be the starting tight end after a great career at Georgia led him to a fairly successful stint in the NFL.
