Redwoods Roll Over the Sentinels 24-7

The New York Sentinels were an inch away from leading the Florida Tuskers 17-0 last week, since then it has been all downhill. The Sentinels offense sputtered tonight and the Redwoods offense did enough to easily handle the Sentinels team and bring UFL home teams to a 3 and 1 record.

New York is now the only winless team in the league.

After the Redwoods lost to the Locos in week one Dennis Green made a number of changes, including benching Shane Boyd in favor of Mike McMahon. The Redwoods’ changes seemed to make a difference, although McMahon was as wildly inconsistent tonight as he was in the NFL.

UFLA Preview: The Redwoods and Sentinels Tonight at 9 PM EST/6PM PST

On Saturday night the California Redwoods will play host to the New York Sentinels at AT&T Park in San Francisco. The game kicks off at 9 PM Eastern/6 PM local time and will be televised on HDNet and webcast via ufl-football.com.

United Football League Final Rosters Announced

Final Training Camp Rosters Released for United Football League Teams

JACKSONVILLE, FL (September 16, 2009) – The United Football League announced its “Premiere” season training camp rosters today. Training camp officially began on Monday, September 13th in Orlando, Florida and Casa Grande, Arizona and players were added until this morning. The Florida Tuskers and New York Sentinels are training at the Citrus Bowl while the California Redwoods and the Las Vegas Locomotives are training at the Casa Grande Performance Institute. New York Sentinels Sign 17, Including Rice

NEW YORK, NY (August 27, 2009) – The United Football League’s New York Sentinels announced 17 more names for its “Premiere” season roster including DE Simeon Rice. Drafted by the Arizona Cardinals third overall in the 1996 NFL Draft, Rice is credited with over 120 sacks, earned three Pro Bowl selections and contributed to the Buccaneer’s Super Bowl XXXVII victory.
