Ron Bodine takes a look at the various options in Northern California for the California Redwoods in 2010. This look at different possibilities comes on the heels of the report earlier in the week that Sacramento will be the likely home of the Redwoods in the upcoming United Football League season.
The California Redwoods are decamping from San Francisco and heading to Sacramento according to published reports from the Sacramento Bee. Last fall Paul Pelosi, and others, openly speculated about moving the Redwoods to either San Jose or Sacramento. Today the Bee seems to have proof that Sacramento is the final choice, although no announcements have been made yet.
Paul Pelosi seems to be loving every minute of being an owner in the United Football League. He has traveled to many of the games and before that he traveled to many of the events leading up to the launch of the league. Everywhere he traveled he seemed to have a smile on his face – owning a football team just seems to be fun for Pelosi.
