Hey, just found this site, love the coverage of the UFL. Unfortunately their “official” site doesn’t provide much information, but this site is just what I was looking for!

Breaking: Sam Boyd Stadium to Host United Bowl, Year One

UFL

According to Daren Libonati, the Director of Sam Boyd Stadium, as of this afternoon the UFL has an agreement in place to play the first ever United Bowl in Sam Boyd Stadium in Las Vegas, which goes in hand with Access’ prior report on the Las Vegas/United Bowl connection. Also, Libonati confirmed that an agreement has been drafted for a team to play in Vegas in year one of the UFL and is awaiting only an ownership group to sign on the dotted line.

Further, Libonati told UFL Access that an announcement from Michael Huyghue regarding the future of the United Football League will take place on March 1st. UFL Access is trying to confirm this report, which would represent a delay from an initial desire to make an announcement in February.

Libonati expressed that he was extremely impressed with the vision of the league and that they’ve been nothing but professional in their dealings. He told Access that more than any other venture he’s seen in a long time, the United Football League has their act together.

More as it comes.
