Another United Football League player is finding time with NFL squads this month.
Hot on the heels of news yesterday that players both from the UFL’s Florida Tuskers and Las Vegas Locomotives had either been signed or provided workouts by NFL teams comes word that a New York Sentinel has found his way into the league. Offensive tackle Michael Toudouze has joined the Indianapolis Colts’ practice squad today. (Image, left, courtesy of the UFL.)
A four-year letterman at Texas Christian, Toudouze was originally drafted by the Colts in the fifth round of the 2006 NFL Draft. Spending time on the active roster and practice squad for three seasons with the Colts, Toudouze was a part of the Colts’ Super Bowl XLI championship team, and also played in four regular season games in 2007 and one post-season match-up in 2008 before finding his place with the UFL’s Sentinels in 2009.
