Former New Orleans Saints Head Coach Jim Haslett will lead the Orlando UFL team. Haslett was the Head Coach of the New Orleans Saints from 2000 to 2005 and also served an Assistant Coach for the Oakland Raiders, New Orleans Saints, and Pittsburgh Steelers. Haslett led the Saints to an NFC West Division title.
Most recently Jim Haslett was the Interim Head Coach for the St. Louis Rams in 2008. According to many sources Haslett was the leading candidate to take over the job, but the Rams lost two games down the stretch that sealed his fate. He is still considered a future coaching prospect and may be the most sought after of the UFL coaches due to his relative youth and reputation.
