UFL 2.0 Goes Live

The UFL has launched a revamped version of its official website which can be found here… http://www.ufl-football.com/.  The site features more content with a better organized layout.  All of the most recent news, video, audio, and photos are more easily accessible via the home page, and the league advised in its most recent mass e-mail notification that other features are soon to follow (to include an online store and interactive chats).

The United Football League’s Ralph Vuono told UFLAccess.com that, “Integrating a true social networking strategy and becoming truly viral is paramount if you want to build your fan base at the grassroots level.  We are excited to have the opportunity to interact with our fans and future fans through Twitter, Facebook, MySpace, YouTube and our text messaging alert program.”

In addition to the new website, the league has launched an official MySpace page, Facebook page, and a YouTube channel.  The league has consistently branded itself a “fan league” and is transparent in its effort to connect to the fans through popular social networking sites.
