As we continue to wait for an official announcement, we’ve been hammering the league for some information. Access writer Nation Hahn spoke again with the league office today, and while they wouldn’t commit to a hard date and time launch specification, Nation opines on the possibilities for this in our forums and also brings a little news to the table on the likelihood of having UFL games on nights other than Friday. Finding the right night to have football games seems tricky. Friday nights compete with areas where High School football is big, but Thursday is a weeknight and sometimes is in direct competition with the NFL. If I’m a season ticket holder, I don’t want to take off every Friday after a Thursday game. Maybe working between just Friday nights, and Saturdays (while trying to avoid competing with High School or College football) is the best way to go.
